i hope this isnt too personal of a question. but i was wondering what you all with newer trucks owe, how long of a payment, and how much of a payment?
i owe about $22,000 on my 2002 F250, i was paying a 60 month loan for $472.00 per month. well, now, i decided i want to pay off my bills as fast as possible, and dropped the loan length from 60 months to 48 months ( 4 years ) and that raised my payment from 472- $525.00 per month. i want to buy a house within a year and a half, so im trying to get my toys ( four wheeler, snowmobile, truck ) payed off as much as i can before then.
I have a 48 month loan on my X paying $272.61 per month. I owe about $8,000 on it and like you, I'd also like to pay it off as I plan on getting my own own house within the same time frame.
Four easy payments of 6724.52 Since I'm in agriculture I only have to make yearly payments, but can pay anytime I want to as long as I pay up what I'm suppose to in a year. I borrowed 23000 from the bank on four years, and I am hoping I'll have it payed off in three. I saved my money for about 5 years so I knew I'd be able to pay it off and the main reason I borrowed was to get a line of credit set up and get a good credit rating by paying it off quickly. I figure after I get my pick-up payed off it'll be easier to get a lone for a house, especially would the really good banker I've got
man, this is kinda funny this topic popped up.
My Dad & I were just talkin today about how high my payments are and how i could and should try to get them down.
right now i pay $683.44 a month. and my loan was originally $32,500 over a 60 mo. time preiod.
Don't want to sound like a commercial for a bank, but if you own your house and haven't refied in last 9 months or so, see if you can get a lower rate and keep your house payment the same and take out some equity and pay off your truck.
yea, yer tellin me! and after seein some of these other guys with the same truck as mine and lower payments, i wonder what the deal is!!! did you fellas put some money down er what?
