ok,so a coupl years ago my dad was driving my 1978 bronco down the road and said he heard a "pop" sound and then the truck went dead...he seems to think its the carb, can anyone shed some light please?
Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will do our best to get you the most accurate info we can.
That is a pretty vague description of the problem. I am going to assume it will no longer start. Does it crank? Any visible leaks since it died? If you are certain you have the ignition trilogy (Air, fuel, heat/spark) and it still won't start you are probably dealing with a mechanical failure.
Any indication as to where in the truck this alleged "pop" came from?
