You can drill them. I broke one as well and drilled it out no problem

If your snapon ratchet broke, that would be your excuse to get a good one!

I'd rather have a broken ratchet with a lifetime warranty than have to drill out a bolt. LOL

My notch with the factory tie downs, is they are at the bottom of the bed.
Maybe I will get another set, and install some higher up in the bed.

Adding some that go into the stake pockets on the bed rail are a good companion to the lower factory tie downs.
