i need rocker arm help!

i need rocker arm help!

checking the uvch and decided to check the rocker arms. some will wiggle back and forth and some wont, it doesnt seem normal, can someone help?

Did you torque the down yet? If not here's a link to torque info. Hopefully thats all you'll need . If not I'm sure some one else will chime in with more for you

thanks, i torqued them (or tried anyway) my chilton tells me 20 lbs and only one was slightly loose. good now though! thanks

Thats about the extent of my borrowed knowledge. We'll have some real mechanical brains here soon. Did you check to make sure the push rods were'nt loose?

Completely normal. Stick a breaker bar with socket on the crank bolt and spin the engine. The loose rockers will be tight and some of the tight ones will now be loose. Has to do with normal operation of the valves as the motor spins.
