I have a 64 f100 with a spotlight mounted near the windshield on the drivers side. Never seen one before, asked a few people and no one else has seen it so Im wondering if it is stock or not. Spotlight says FoMoCo on it so I know its at least a ford part.
Numberdummy can tell you if this was a factory option. I did see two Slicks at the Supernationals that had these. One was a ranger that was optioned out from the factory and unrestored w/ 19000 orig. miles. Definitely a cool option though.
First of all, WELCOME to FTE!
As for the spotlights, yes, it was an option - I have 2, one with the right mount (on the cowl) and one on the left that I will install some day.
The mounts that screw to the cowl are the only parts unique to the '61 - '66 trucks, and are available from vendors advertising here at FTE.
