you should not use any other type of silicone they grey. other types of silicon can react with the engine oil and cause oil foaming, oil break down and most silicon's will no thold up long causing leaks. seems like a lot of work to do twice.

Yeah I guess so. OH well. Now that I learned some tricks and know what to expect I think I can knock it down to a 4-5 hr job. Hardest part was not knowing. I did figure out what the plastic shield and pastic screws were for in the kit all on my own as well.
I really need a better manual for this stuff.
Since I'll have to take it apart again should I do the EGR cooler or anything else while I'm in there?
