I am in Warner Robins...
Have had Fords all my life 84 Bronco II, 87 Ford Ranger, 85 F250 6.9L, 91 Ford Explorer, 94 Ford Explorer, 88 F350 460 Dually, 95 Ford Explorer, 2000 F250 and two classics a 66 Pony Coupe with a 289, and now a 73 Mach I with a 351C made to be a Boss 351.

GREAT SITE!!!! Just joined, so i am still gettin used to it, i live in evans, just outside of Augusta, off exit 190 off I-20. Have an 87 F-250 super cab, almost nothing on it is stock, too much small stuff to list.

Hey ya'll. I live in a little town called Carlton, Ga. It's about 30 minutes east of Athens. I'm a 5'4 120lb woman that drives a '99 Ford F-350 Crew Cab dually. My husband drives a '93 Ford Escort!
I could put it in the bed of my truck.
I get on here at least once a day just to see if anything exciting is happening.

I'm following F350woman's footsteps here... I have a 93 F350 Crew Cab dually, its down right now 
but will be back up and running soon! Newnan/Lagrange/Carrollton area here ( west central ga, the the aladamnbama state line).
I travel all over, augusta, brooks, villa rica, tallapoosa, rome, pretty much all over.... can't waitto be making those trips in my " baby"!!

I'm still learning my way around this site. This is my first time to visit the Georgia Area forum. I live in Walker county immediately south of Chattanooga. Also I'm needing a good E4OD shop pretty soon, any suggestions?

I have thought about a used tranny, but I have a friend in Louisiana who knows where I can get mine rebuilt for around $800-$1200 depending on what he finds inside. This friend also has the PSD with the E4OD and he works in a salvage yard. He says that this rebuilder is the best he's ever seen and he has seen a lot of them. I just feel safer knowing what I have and knowing it's fresh for the same price as a used unit with question marks. When I get the tranny back in the truck I will let everyone know how it went. I definitely don't mind referring someone who does good work.
