Mark, You gotta visit Pull-A-Part over off Westmoreland and I285. You can buy a nice bed for 2-300 bucks. I go there often so I'll keep an eye-out. I'll look at PF as well.
200-300 bux for a "nice" one?!?!?!!.....h'mmmm...seems to me you have a mighty nice "collector's fee" if you can find me one. I'm really serious.... Harrison is DUE for a new bed....my dash just came in for him to start my special project to astound you all with...he needs the good bed for the nice fiberglass tanneau I'll be getting for him.....
Let me know if you find one - looking for a "good" one with no rust that I can trailer to a body shop and let them renew it for me, while I keep his present bed on him; then I'll just swap 'em and use the old one for a flower bed for my lovely wife....
Mark, Check out the Yard over between the 120 loop and the Big Chicken. He has quite a few beds in there. I didn't stop so I don't know if he is reasonable or not. He had some old cars in there as well. I am considering hanging my fenders on a newer bed say 85-90. They are basically a box and the only real difference is the fenders and I can cut those off. What do you think?
Cool Idea (hanging fenders on a newer box), but that wouldn't work with my styleside. I'll check the yard you spoke of - that's where I got my V-8 radiator support for my 4 core radiator.

Hi all,I'm new to this post. Is there anybody in here from the middle Ga. area?I see alot of you are from up north(GA.) you yankees. Well just went to say hello to you all
I haven't been looking this far down the Forums. But I'm glad I did. I'm down in Stockbridge area where the parts are rare. I sold off my '65 F-100 and moved up to a '93 F-350 Crew Cab 4x4 long bed diesel. Been driving Ford truck for years and picked up the habit from my father. It's been several months with the '93 and I have been adding little things all over. And has made 2 trips up to the New England area this spring. I anybody knows of the next swap meet, please post it.
If it hasn't fallen off by now, then keep it, you might need it later!
My neighbor is selling his 1968 with a 360. It's in really good shape. Only 3 grand or best offer. My wife wont go for it!!! It's in the Villa Rica area, west of downtown right off I-20. Great forum!!!
