Rubber Ford Trailer Hitch Plug

Anyone know where I can find a plain, black, rubber hitch recepticle plug that says "Ford" for my new STX? I can't find one on the net. I had one for my Ranger, but it was 1 1/2". Thanks!

I have looked before and have not found any rubber "Ford" plugs.

This is as close as I got.

Is that the 2" cap listed for the Explorer? That might be what I'm looking for. Thanks!

That's the one I had on my Explorer (2" receiver). It costs about $20. It looked good until someone stole it (no holes to lock it with). I just have a plain one on the F150 now.

You can order them through Ford accessories in the Explorer section and have it shipped.

^hey me too, on my old F150 I'm not sure if mine was stolen or fell off. Now I still got one on my new truck, but drilled a small hole in it and attached a spring to it and hooked the spring way back inside the receiver hole. Now it's in there pretty tight but I guess still could be stolen if someone looks underneath and sees the spring hook.

Tasca auto parts has them on ebay and Amazon for $11. It's a genuine Ford part....probably should have gone to my dealer and saved the shipping. It does look good though.
