will turn over but not start

I have a 1994 f350 turbo direct injected diesel, that was running fine. Went to crank it up yesterday afternoon and all it will do is turn over but never crank up, Any ideals?

Im sure a little more info would be helpful for people trying to diagnose your problem. Did you run out of diesel? When a diesel runs out of gas it can take a lot to get them re-primed. Does it try to ignite or anything? Or is it just the starter turning the engine over and nothing else. Check and see if your even getting a spark at the plugs. If it isnt trying to start at all. Any little bit of info. will help people diagnose your problem. Hope this was helpful.

1994.5 - 1997 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums Here is a link to the page for your engine.
Assuming you didn`t run out of diesel then my guess would be a bad camshaft position sensor. But the guys on that other page will know.
