From the research that i've done on it, you can use a 22k ohm resistor from key on power (fused of course) back to the computer. This tricks it into thinking that nothing is wrong thus disabling fail-safe mode. Then you use a good ground, through the toggle switch to ground the solenoid when you want the converter locked up. I have notes on it somewhere that I printed off a while back and of course anyone with more knowledge can correct me if i'm wrong. Putting the temp sensor in the pressure port might be an idea though.
I have yet to try it on my truck, I do have an extended wire that I made with the 22k ohm resistor in it though. I think that i'm going to try and tackle it this weekend. I didn't get a chance to get under the truck and check out that pressure port but i'll try to do that soon.
