another crossflow fuel question

I know this has been discussed before, but just wanted to make sure I know what im doing before i start. My 92 f-250 has the fuel crossflow problem. My rear tank is rusted out,and im pretty sure the pump is shot.It has been dripping for 3 months.I want to remove the rear tank, possibly permanently.Do I just plug all three hoses and cap the electrical connections? Can I use rubber hoses with hoseclamps and plugs. Thanks for any help in advance.

A good hose suitable for fuel injection lines (find a hose for 10bar or 20bar wp), and a good clamp is ok for the system pressure. The return line i´m not sure but i belive is less pressure.

It has no head blockage so the pressure would be very low if any.

Yes the supply does back-feed from the front pump also.
The pressure is under 45 or 60 PSI depending if you have a 302, 351, 460 or a 4.9.
If the fuel pressure regulator does not lift it could go over 100 PSI.
