Conversion to Electric Choke on Holley
I have a Holley 600 I plan to use on the engine in my 48 F-3. It currently has a manual choke. Has anyone converted one of these to an automatic electric choke? It doesn't seem like it would be too hard, but thought I'd ask before I screw it up. The carburetor has to be rebuilt since it's been sitting for about 6 years. Would this be something I could have done when I have it rebuilt? Are there aftermarket parts available to accomplish this? Maybe I should forget the carburetor altogether and buy a new one with the electric choke. Any comments welcome.

Thanks. Wonder if the electric choke from another carburetor could be transferred to the Holley, or is the "kit" necessary.
