i am pretty sure it was duplicolor we used back them. whatever the rattlecans are you get from napa and other auto parts stores..

maybe you were thinking about Plasti-Kote\Valspar paints, that company was established in 1906. But definitely not Duplicolor, 25 years ago they didn't exist.

now, if you are talking Plasti-Kote, their paints do match a lot of the time.

I gotta say that if you want the best, and it won't chip or peel if done right, you gotta spend the cash and go with Durabak - that stuff is the real deal, everything else is just spray paint and Durabak is real liner, it's tough as hell polyurethane and it doesn't even scratch!
