Lowered F250 with 20 or 22's
#61
Not sure what's being debated here. Just see a guy that asked to see some pics of lowered F250's and gets nothing but negative feedback. Only got through 1 1/2 pages.
99% of lifted F250's I've ever seen towing or carrying a load sags like an a wet noodle, however every lowered F250 albeit few, I've seen doing the same isn't. And no it's not because it's resting on the frame.
Kind of like me bashing people that lift their trucks, put huge tires on it, then dump money into the motor for performance. Kind of working against each other there. Doesn't make sense to me, but I can appreciate the work and I like them as well. A nice well built truck is just that, nice. I don't care if it's lifted, lowered, bagged, stock, leveled, if done correct, can still be functional.
Being ignorant on a subject isn't an excuse and opinion's aren't facts. A well built lowered F250 can function equal or better than any lifted F250 in most cases.
Mine's lowered 3/5, use it for work everyday towing my trailer.
Here's mine, but this load alone made me switch to Terra Grapplers with load rang E. Thought these puppies were gonna blow out.
Pallet of sod, full size spare, and a bunch of dirt. No saggy britches here. lol
Here it is with the TG's

If you're talking about mine, I appreciate it. It doesn't stay this clean long.
Yes, 2wd. Yeah I've seen 1 2wd lifted, but I can't say I've ever seen a 4wd lowered.
Thanks Man, I appreciate it! I really enjoy it and am very thankful to have it, it's been a great truck.
Love your sig quote Jim, may have to use it (not here) if you don't mind.

I was thinking of options for lowering a 03 F250 SD, my pop is getting up on 90 and can't make that leap into the cab, my thoughts would be possibly a Ranger, or lowering his current 250sd, 4 inch blocks in the back would be easy, front axle would be more tricky, perhaps have the springs re-set to a different arch. He does want to do a little snow plowing now and again.

I think Mom's first car ran on Hay, she's good getting in and climbing up, I think Dad was a city boy. When she had to borrow my truck, (don't ask twice if she can drive a stick that's for certain) she fetched a dog leash and clipped it to a milk crate, porta step!
Was just wondering, even in snow the 250 hasn't ever run out of ground clearance ever, so lower for pop shouldn't take away any of its functionality.
