No blocks between the axle and the springs, missing lug nuts? I wonder how the previous owner lowered the front end?
I hope you got a good deal on that ride, you may have purchased yourself a money pit.

I like the stance of your truck undrtw. My truck is a 01 F250 Crew Cab 2wd. Have a set of 22x9.5 ordered with a 5.93 BS and a set of 305/45/22 to go with them. The back needs about 4 inches to come down to be level with the front. It does have a block between the spring and the axle from memory. Truck is at a body shop having some paint work done so I don't know how large the block is. Any body know how much it will drop pulling the block?

On a 250 with the stock block it will drop it 2" or so.
On edit: Got beaten
Bill is right it may affect your driveline angle and cause vibration on accel with an excessive U-Joint angle if its a 2 piece shaft (being a crew cab it will be a 2 piece)
If your carrier bearing has shims, you can remove them to fix.

And due to your initial request not to bash, that's all I'll say about that!

I understand everybody's point that's why I said the "no bashing", to each there own and blah blah, but I could make the same argument about people lifting there trucks up (which I have done) and so on. Just looking for info. I don't pull horses or work construction, the heaviest thing I pull is a Jeep crawler/trail rig. Thanks for eveybody's responses and if any one else has any more insight on my questioning or links to they would greatly be appreciated.

The screen on my laptop is small, but are you missing a few lug nuts?

It's an f350, not sure about shims, shackles or the front. It was a fair price. The Magna Charger, Wheels, & Sound system cost the previous owner close to what I paid for the truck. It runs like a bat out of hell with no mechanical issues... yet.
Haters be patient. I'm looking at lifting it after I unload my Jeep and kill these tires.
