Lowered F250 with 20 or 22's

Looking for some pics of 250's lowered with aftermarket wheels on them I have searched but only come up with 3 or 4 of the trucks. Looking for more ideas, please no bashing I understand how some people feel about lowering these trucks. Thanks in advance, Grant...

Should be illegal, but for entertainment purposes only...

Praise the Lowered!

A Google image search for lowered superduty brings up a bunch of them for me. More than I can stand to view.

Not a fan of lowered trucks, but here you go.
I do like this one though!

Just as long as you don't drop it too low (tucked) it should look fine. I personally like the OEM stance or lifted, just my $.02.

Keep them coming, mainly looking for the F250 body style. I did do a google search and found ton's of dually's but like I said I was looking for more of the crew cab 250 style.

Fordfanatic4life 05-10-2010 06:50 PM

i dont mind the lowered dually if you can afford to make it such a toy, instead of a work truck, but those rims look TERRIBLE...

WAYYYYY to big...

p.s. that black dually is the pic i have on my Iphone. hahah.. hadn't seen the silver one before..

Robs06SuperDuty 05-10-2010 06:53 PM

it should be against the law to Lower a SuperDuty...

bpounds 05-10-2010 06:58 PM

I can understand it for a racetrack truck. And I definitely respect the craftsmanship that may go into a custom truck.

To each his own. But I WILL laugh and point if I see one on the street.

Robs06SuperDuty 05-10-2010 07:00 PM

you wont be the only one!

Well, when they lower it I think they should have to remove from the grille, and everywhere else, the "Super" and change "Duty" to "Doodie" or something like that ;) To each their own, and I'm sure there are plenty that could snicker at my truck for whatever reason.

Sacrilege.

My F550 is lowered about an inch, in front, thanks to a 425# counterweight behind the spoiler. And raised about an inch in the back due to 2 extra leaves on each rear spring It would be hard to lower it any further, due to the 4X4 front axle. I need to get in parking garages, because it is a tow truck. It is 6' 10" tall at the light bar, so I limit the truck to 7' garages. I thought about putting a front air ride so I can dump it to the stops when in a garage. Right now it is only about 1" off the stops. When you lift something it goes higher. I needed this truck to be as versatile as possible! This is how it sits now:

Wow, I thought there would be more people in to it. I'm not talking about bagging or body dropping the truck, just simply putting 3 inches in the back (to level it out) and adding a set of 22's. Any body have any recommendations on what back spaceing to run.

Something like this:

I just bought it and don't know if/how it's lowered. No blocks present between the springs and the axle. 20" rims. It definitely stands out among all the lifted 4x4s around these parts.
