I have it from Good Sources that June G2G is going to be in Salina. I was Kidding with Kyle that he was going to host it-- but there are other members that live there too. Kyles mom suggested a mexican resturaunt - that had a back room and the service was very good (but I can't remeber the name)
There is Guttierez in Salina, It has been there a long time and is good, but a little pricie for Mexican.
Hickory Hut has good BBQ and Bogeys is a neat little hamburger place and pretty reasonable. Also, Cozy Inn is an institution and has been there forever. Cozy Inn would have to be nice weather because there is only seating for about 6 people inside. Cozy Inn is on one of the KS top 10 lists. Can't remember if it is the food place list or just for having been there forever. LOL You need to eat "cozy burgers" at least once. They are the "slidder" typer of burger.
Mom was talking about Cojitas, it is in Sunset Plaza, Crawford and Broadway. They don't really have a back room, but will set a big table up for you towards the back of the restaurant. Pretty good food, and good service when we have been there.
I am going to camp again this year, June 13 thru 19. The River Festival is the 11 thru 14th. What day are we looking at?
Cozy's you will be eating outdoors. They could be picked up and taken to a park or something, but must be picked up in a pickup, you can't put cozy's in your car, or house, or office, or anything that you don't want to smell like B.O. for a really long time.
