Tony said there is a BBQ joint in Salina that surpasses the one in Emporia, but its not as centrally located for folks.

YA, that BBQ place in Salina was yummy but I'm up for anywhere. Whitey needs to be road tested.

Tony, was that the one on the west side of town just east of I-135. If so, I eat there on occasion at noon when in Salina. Good home cooked stuff.

That is the one. It might be a good place for a g2g sometime when the weather is nice. There is a little park just behind the place to the south. Salina also has a "lead sled" car show later in the spring and that might be a time when we could meet and check out the cars etc. and then have a g2g.

I'm up for BBQ in Emporia again. I don't usually care for BBQ, but that was GOOD.

That's a great idea man!! Do you know what date the car show is??

As far as this month, I could do another Emporia BBQ but we can entertain some other options too.

There have been a few new members added to the roster here lately. Maybe we can have one in their neck of the woods and they can make their first g2g !!!!

That's a great Idea... although I am not driving to visit Michelle :-) But any of the other new members have any suggestions? What's your favorite place? Don't forget there might be someone to carpool with (truck pool)...

PS Hey Michelle when are you planning on being in Denver? That's only 6 hours from here.

I can't remember when the car show is, but will check on it. I think it is late spring, maybe towards the end of June.

There are two shows a year in Thomas park. The lead sled (KKOA) is in July or August. The Central City Street Rods show is in June some time. They are both great shows.

I really like those '57's. My first car was a 57 Fairlane with a 312.
