If you really want bright headlights get the HID's. The difference is day and night. I can really tell the difference when I put my fogs on and see how dim they are compared to the HID's and I have the silverstars in the fogs.
I can see the biggest difference when someone is passing me and I see how much brighter my headlights are than their yellow ones.
They are plug and play so they are easy to install. They also use less wattage than regular bulbs so they run cooler.

Just my 2 cents. :-)
HIDs should only be used in projector beam housings. The cutoff pattern on a regular headlight is not defined enough and you WILL blind oncoming traffic.
