It Completely Go Out Or Should It Still Make The Priming Sound When You Turn The Key. I Can Hear Some Sort Of Relay (I Think) when I turn the key but the front pump no longer runs or makes the priming sound?
This is what I and my boss have always done. He's been in the business for years and years. As long you just spray a little and just do it to diagnose this you'll be fine.
If it doesnt prime when you turn the key, its 98.99% chance the pump has died.
And starting won't hurt it,just spray a 1 second stream then try cranking.
there is another way, though starting fluid dont hurt you know that.... whats the name.... not zerc fitting is it? the one that looks like a tire valve >.> anywhozle.......
turn the key on with front tank engaged pop the hood and on *(the drivers side next to the... air intake manafold)* there should be that little tire valve dealy.... take a nail and depress the valve it gas dont get all over your hand then your pump is bad ^.^
but dont worry just yet my friend its never a bad idea to jump the relay just to make sure......
and if your pump is bad
drop the tank pull the pump soak it in PB BLASTER* for about.... 2-3 hours then hook some test leads up to it and cross em on your + and - terminals and 9 times out of 10 she will start wherllin again ^.^
*()* indicates that that is the location of the 302/5.0 and 351/5.8 engines

Your pump probably is going out. Ive had some that die outright, some that fizzle out, and some that intermittently go out. Best thing to do is to get a fuel pressure gauge They are like $40 and as long as you own a fuel-injected vehicle you will use it.
