92 f150 5.0 automatic, just put a 5.0 from a 91 in my 92 truck. Used all my original wiring, distributor, coil, starter, all work and are in good condition. Truck has no spark by turning the key. Lights come on and can hear fuel pump prime but engine doesn't make a sound, starter doesn't turn over. But turns over when I cross the solenoid. Wire connections are good, grounds are good. What should I check? Sensor somewhere?
Your post is confusing. No spark would mean the starter is turning the engine over and the ignition system is not sending a spark to the spark plugs. Not cranking, the starter is not turning the engine over. I believe you mean it is not cranking. Try moving the shift lever around while holding the key in start. Look around under the hood to see if you forgot to hook something up, like the one near the master cylinder that goes to the nuetral start switch.
