update 4.2 li IMRC
Well I didn't hear from anyone on the intake manifold removeal, to access the IMRC issue. So I called a mobile mechanic that a coworker knew. He quoted me a price of around 300.00 and said he could be out first thing in the (sat) morning. So after finding my place it was after 8:00 when he got started by a little after 9:00 he had everything removed and checking the arms on the IMRC we found the plastic grommets were brittle and breaking (that was a great design Ford).I had only purchased 2 because the Ford parts guy sold me 2. He decicided we better change all 4 why we had her open. So after San Tan Ford had only 1 grommet ( you think they would sell them in 4s) he tried an autozone, guy brought him a license plate grommet, then tried Berge Ford who had the tiny grommets which are thee size of a viagra pill, and cost the same (10.00 for those who are lucky enough not to no the price of e.d. drugs). But before 11:00 he had my truck recoded and up and running. Well worth my 300.00 and weekend worth of headache. So much for the 4-6 hour job quoted by a lot of shops. Thanx Ken
