any catfishermen here?
weather is starting to get nice,what temperature does the water have to be before the catfish start biting good? last year I didn't get to start night fishing until late june and they were hitting great then. My job has slowed down,and i have time on friday nights to night fish instead of work,but I don't want to waste time if the fish aren't going to cooperate. thanks for any tips/info.

night time catfish
ive found down here in kentucky, the catfish are more acttive in early june and stay acctive through out the month this is because they are spawning, the best way to catch the big fish are with jugs, limb lines trot lines and live bait near big boulders stumps and other debree in the water the fish may be hiding in, try fishin on nice cool nights that arnt to humid are before and after a cold front moves in use shad or creek chub and depending on the catfish rather it be blue cat channel cat or flat head is how you pick your bait, blue and channel will eat almost anything from dead to very much alive, flat head on the other hand are more picky they perfer an alive slow presentation or your hand.
