I hunt and fish as much as possible, next best thing to sex as far as I'm concerned. Active duty service has put a big hit on my chances to enjoy hunting/fishing over the years, but I have kept up with it the best that I can.
I am taking my "dream" trip this June. A week of guided Salmon/Halibut fishing in Alaska!! Eat your hearts out!!! ;-)

ha ha.... I live there and I can do that when ever my heart pleases....... have a fun time
yo,
We surf fish a lot on a southern NJ state beach park where over-the-sand permit is needed. We go in fall, winter, and spring during the week when it is basically vacant.
I've also been surf fishing a few times in NJ - its pretty fun to drive right up on the beach, park.. and fish right there. Our Fire Dept and a few others charter a boat once or twice a year and we go out for blues or fluke. Otherwise, I enjoy a nice peaceful afternoon fishing in a nice lake or stream somewhere on a weekend.
We can fish pretty much year round here, allbeit, our success depends entirely on the fish themselves. Right now, there's a run of "Winter Springs/Tyee/Kings" that's pretty hot.
Summer and Fall cruising around the Gulf/San Juan Islands is also fantastic.
Hey I suppose that after I get my truck...... sometime this coming week.....and......I get the pictures posted........I could probably post a picture of my big ugly tin boat!
something to think about.

Geez some of you guys have to have a lot of tags and permits. Here we only need a conservation license and a regular season adult fishing license and if you want to keep anything in the eastern part of the state you have to have a warm water game fish stamp, to get everything it costs $26 to fish year round. What does it cost you guys to go fishing?
well me and dad take the boat out to one of the many lakes here or the river .
havent been this year yet i need to stand on him to get the boat ready cos im itchin
and me and my brother are planning on going to telico for some trout fishing this spring
