Go plug your truck in and tell me what your exhaust back pressure is at idle. . . and through a good power run. I've been getting some very weird numbers and I want to see what all of you are getting. Thanks!
Timmy
On this particular truck. . . its flatlined at 43 PSI. . . on my truck I've seen it sitting at 47 PSI. .. and i don't know if it moves from there or not. I'd be very interested to find out more.
Timmy
Duck Fan, Have you had to smog your truck yet! I'm sure mine will have to be done in Sept. I noticed you have a Van trubo, That doesn't have a waste gate does it, along with the other things I just want to know how you made out and what you had to do , Thanks, Chet,
I'm also in California, Norco

At idle it should read atmospheric pressure. For my setup, WOT is 54 at 40psi of boost. Subtract atmospheric pressure and it is 40. Hope this helps
Thats more on par with what I would expect. I guess I've got a few failures on my hands unless its something that Jody messes with for tuning. . . but i can't imagine why we would mask the real numbers with a very high static number. I've replaced my backpressure tube not too long ago. . . guess I'm going to dive into this a little deeper. I think this will explain my erratic timing changes while cruising.
Timmy
How do you check the timing changes? I'll pull what I can off my truck and get it to you if you'd like. I'm still mostly stock minus my Superchip that came with the truck that I don't want to pull out because it turns my truck into a stock dog!
