What have you done to make your SuperDuty secure? Select all items that apply and if you have specifics about your system design... I would love the details.
I have configured the poll so your answers are not linked to your user id... just incase you left your name & address visible to the public.

Another item just brought to my attention is the Jimmi' Jammer plates that are added to the back of the door handle casing to deter the theives entry from prying the door handle frame. Has anyone installed these?
Love my truck and have alot work and $$ tied up in it but all I do is lock the doors when I am in town. I live off the beaten path and feel pretty secure even leaving it unlocked at home.

Yes, I have the Jimmi Jammer installed. I don't know how effective it really is, and hopefully I won't have to find out! The back doors may still be susceptible however, don't know if these should be protected as well. Hmmm, maybe I will give Jimmi Jammer a call!
Also have a remote starter with a built in kill switch. It is set to passively arm, so 30 seconds after turning off the key, the starter kill is automatically activated.
I got plenty of stuff worth a lot of money in my truck, lots of tools behind the seats, laptop, stereo, cd's, on and on.... I lock the doors and hope for the best, not going to go through life all worried that my truck got broken into, it would really suck, but what can you do? Once in a great while you are just going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, you can have everything in the world, they can just blow the window out and start grabing stuff, I do feel bad for fireman, I know I would want to kill the basterd that stole my truck, but without knowing who did it there is no one to shoot...
my new one is a lariat so it has the asg in it i also am putting in fords dealer ascory the rke, rmst, vss system , it disables the key and sets off the alarm when shook or hit. imm its at least a help if they want it they will get it anyway.
I put a Viper 791 alarm and remote start on our superduty. It has the new transponder technology and if im out of range for the lcd screen to tell me something is wrong it starts beeping.
