351M to 400 conversion
Hello
I am in the process of replacing my tired 351M with a crate 400. The new 400 does not come with a harmonic balancer or flywheel. Can I use those from the 351M? Seems I read somewhere that due to the different crankshafts those parts would not interchange...

I don't know of any difference . About 20 years ago I had a 351m converted to a 400. Different crank and rods, I used the 351m crank pully and flywheel, it's still running. If there was a problem it should have shown up by now . Jim
