the pick-up screen looks like 1/24 scale chain link fence. remember it has to flow 15w40 when its cold and a volume fast enugh to feed the thirsty hpp.
The Kit I bought was for a 6.0L from alliant and the part # was AP0002
I never got the circlips out and I did just start replacing the o-rings. It does take some time to do each one. I never found any larger pieces for the remainder of the metal spacer or whatever it is between the o-ring and the c-clip. I did however find some shavings around the injector and valve spring area while digging around with the magnet. Wherever it might be, its gone now. Good possibility it fell out of the motor too since I found the smaller piece laying under the truck. So I guess I should order a new injector to replace this one then. Anyone have a good source for cheap injectors?
Same place. They sell both new and reman injectors, and as far as I know the only place you can get NEW injectors anymore. Ford's are all reman IIRC. You might find cheaper, but is that really a place you want to skimp and have to do it again?
nope not that at all.
Alliant was 1 yr 12k. with racing season in full swing I could do that in 3-4 months. 50k was a better warranty and they came highly recommended by someone in the industry.

Nice info to know. Thanks for the reply. Did you get up and running again?
