I did not do any complaining it, it was fmc400 that brought it up to my attention and I did not even re-start this thing.
djjsc was offering a set of rims to a guy that asked in 05/05/2010....I think its funny...maybe the guy is still looking for them. I have done it before too.
oem78 "deals" are requested to be handled off the main thread and using pm's.
Hit me up there please.

whoa whoa whoa guys...calm down. It was a generalized statement made/intended to be a bit humorous while poking fun at typical forum culture. hence the after the comment. You guys have been around long enough, I'm sure you guys can agree there is some truth to my statement...? No need to take it personal.
I know this an old tread. Not much on the forum on these wheels, i have done a search.
I have a question, i have three wheels on a parts truck i just bought that has these markings. at first i thought they were off a freewheeling truck but the letter LE seem to throw me off from what number dummy has posted. Anyone have any idea. The truck seems to be an original 1977 f150.
Thanks for the help
I don't find "LE" as a marking. Double check. These letters like "J" or "JJ" etc have to do with the rim cross section profile. This effects how the tire seats on the rim and how the tire would be retained on the rim in the event of a blow out or loss of pressure.
I would need to strip the wheel. I dont see any other. i have always read that the markings are near the valve stem
Like in post #3 "D8TZ1015C .. White Spoke Styled Steel Wheel 15" x 6" / Marked: LJ adjacent to the valve stem"
I will look closer

Wheels in your pics are the later ('80 up?) & lighter STAMPED steel wheels. In 1978 - '79 Ford offered WELDED steel wheels; considerably heavier then later stamped ones. Also came in 2 sizes; 15x6 & 15x8.
