Strange wheels?
these are 15" rims..that were on the truck when purchased.. Not sure who made them or what goes in the center.. Looks to big to be a regular center cap... Wondering if it should be a dog dish hubcap... Any help would be appreciated..
Ohhh yes..The opening is 6 5/16"
First time trying to post pic..hopes this works

These 'styled' wheels are aftermarket, not genuine Ford. Ford didn't offer styled wheels for F100/150's until 1977.
1961/66 F100's came with painted steel wheels. 1965/66 wheels could be either "innies" or "outies."
Innie = So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.
Outie = So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.
1953/79 F100's have 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle, as do 1966/96 Bronco's, 1975/96 F150's, some 1980/83 F100's.

What ring are you referring to?
Here are the diameters of the original 'dog dish' hubcaps:
F100 ~ Innie (1961/66):
TYPE 1 = 9 1/2" diameter / Outie (1965/66):
TYPE 2 = 10 1/4" diameter.

ND.. You are a wealth of information..Thank you
Anyone have any idea how I can find out who made these rims
.(Can't find any markings front or back.)
Or where I can find generic center caps?.
Wanted to have these powder coated... But if I can't find the correct center cap..It probably wot be worth it...
