Firing order

Ok I just converted back over to an 88 f250 from something other then a <NOBR id=itxt_nobr_0_0 style="FONT-WEIGHT: normal; FONT-SIZE: 100%; COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-FAMILY: inherit">ford</NOBR> and need help I've searched and just cant find a straight to the point answer

heres the run down. I'm rebuilding a 88 f250 5.0. I need to know the plug firing order and as dumb as this may seem is number 1 on drivers side or passanger side.
Dont flame to bad please and thanks in advance for the help

Welcome back from the dark side. If you're doing a complete rebuild consider adding a better than stock cam, the Comp cams 31-55-5 is EFI friendly and a healthy upgrade.

also remember that ford cylinder arangement is not like the chubbys.
passenger side front to back 1234, driver side front to back 5678

Sorry it took so long to reply back, life issues. We are actually considering dumping the F/I and going old school carb set up since Its been decided to do a complete teardown/rebuild and the parts are here just begging to be used lol but again thanks
