just joining in on the convo since i have the same problem from doing an efi to carbed switch. a torque converter lock up kit is about 150 dollars but i would love to know if it is possible that ford made any vaccum advances for their non computer controlled trannys interchangeable with that of an electrictronically controlled system. eg, changing the electronic one with a vaccum operated version on side of tranny then running vaccum line to that from tree, will that work
