simple question... how do you get the lock cylinder out of and back into the ignition switch? I can't figure it out, I've been messing with them all afternoon
with the key in turn the lock there is a little button that you push in with a paper clip that allows the cylinder to turn a little more to lock into the switch part.I just did this last week It had me stumped to.
Badair,
I believe you turn the key counter-clockwise and watch/feel for the little button to show up in the little hole, push a paper clip into the hole to depress the button and continue to turn key till it stops and then pull out the key and lock cylinder all as one. Once it stops turning, you may need to wiggle it a bit to get it out.
