Fuse keeps blowing
I have a 2004 Excursion Limited 6.0 Diesel

The 10 amp minifuse that powers the gauges and automatic headlight function (not sure what else) keeps blowing. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas as to what might be causing it?

It very well could be a chaffed wire in the column. The Tow Haul switch is fed from fuse #45(10A), along with the Instrument cluster, and part of the 4WD module. Good call Sheriff..

Thanks guys. That really helped.

I just went out, put in a new fuse, and then cycled through the gear selector a few times and BINGO! Fuse Blows!

I really appreciate the help and this forum.
