George, if you want to do something on the column you will have to make it work. look at the universal guage pods at summit and there are single pods that you will be able to make work on the column. i can't remember which ones Cody used, but his look pretty slick. how many guages do you want on the column? hopefully only 2 b/c i think that's about all thats fitting there.

Actually you can fit there more than 2, look here:
yes, but that is a newer model truck. ive looked on summit, they have the column pods for everything except OBS. so, travis, you are right. i will have to adapt somethig myself
I think they would look better mounted in my truck...
I like the location of them right above the steering wheel there. I wonder if I could modify a pod like that to match the curve of the dash there. I don't even mind having the wires there. I'd run a dashpad over them.
You could get fancy with a hole saw and come PVC pipe (cut at an angle on one end to tilt the gauge toward the driver) and make room for 1 or 2 in that portion of the black part of the dash to either side of the steering wheel. Trouble would be visibility while driving.
Chase, dont spill my project before I get it done!!!!!!!
With it on the sides of the dash there, you'll have more visibility than you get with a pillar.
That pillar makes a HUGE blind spot.
I didn't know what you had up your sleeve... sounds like I came pretty close though
The pillar pod in my SD never bothered me, have another one for the OBS that will be filled with Isspro gauges I got for free fifty real soon
And I was looking at an idea of 3 gauges over the radio ont he dash like you were saying (Boost, Fuel pressure, Oil Pressure) then a scan gauge, Pyro and Tranny Temp on the A pillar.
This is the pod I am going to use for on my dash when I get all the guages and such that I want.
