`65 F100 Front End Rebuild

Welcome from South Carolina!
Um Bill, maybe we better specify which parts will interchange. There are a number of inconsistencies, especially with a '65.
And, the following notes are for F-100/150 '65 - '79. Some F-250 parts will match with the F-100/150, but others are unique to the F-250.
If you swap the entire disc brake spindles and steering linkages, then yes, the parts will interchange.
But a '65 I-beam requires '65 only king pins.
'73 and later outer tie rods have longer studs, that will not tighten down onto a '65 or '66 drum spindle.
But the '73 and later inner tie rod to the pitman arm will interchange onto the '65 pitman arm.
I-beams '66 - '79, along with the radius arms and supporting parts will interchange onto a '65 (except for the king pin issue of '65 only.)
Finally, I am assuming this all applies equally to Australia - I really do not know.

`65 Front End
Thanks Bill and Banjo, I`ve had a quick look at the article and I think I`ll use the whole assembly from the `75. Bought the `75 for parts and saw that it had a lot of new parts in the front end which I hoped I could use for my `65 chassis...looks like I can.
Most all of the Australian F100 stuff is the same as U.S , although sourced from Canada. We didn`t get all the fancy stuff you blokes got though !!! Lucky Buggers.
