power steering pump difference-78-150-250

Need some ND/other help here. Aside from brackets is there any difference between the 1978-9 power steering pumps used in the F150 vs F250 pumps used in those years. Thanks again. Lefty

Ford changed the P/S pump on everything in 1978 (F100/350's, Bronco's and Passenger Cars) except Econolines.

1977 and earlier have a steel reservoir & dipstick.

1978 and later have a plastic reservoir & dipstick.

The P/S pump used from 1978 thru 1996 is essentially the same.
