Well, got the head gasket all pulled apart. Had to run to the store and get a socket. My 13MM 12 point was broke!!!

Well I got the tranny on the ground. I found something interesting though. The seal between the transfer case was not leaking it was coming from the top of the tranny. I mean there was tranny fluid pooled in all the cavitys on top of the tranny.

I am thinking it was pushing it out from the seal between the trans case and the tailshaft housing....?

That could be Troy, makes more sense than the gasket leaking...

Is it possible that one of the vent lines was leaking? Do any look wet?

Yeah I checked the vent tubes but they were not plugged and were dry inside when I blew through them.

Yeah I thought that too but it was all dry from the front of the tranny back. Dipstick tube was all dry. The only part that was wet and pooled was in the back and over the tailshaft housing.

Yeah I know I am baffled too. I was looking for a crack in the tranny somewhere but didnt see one so I don't know?? I am gonna have Brian call me when he tears it apart just to know.

Yeah Dave I hate to ask you to drive all that way again but the guys who helped me tonight are not going to be around and besides I trust you guys alot more! We should have it all wrapped up in the morn no problem so then you could still get home at a decent time! I would really appreciate it!
