Hard 3rd->4th gear shift?
I have a predictable hard shift from 3rd to 4th gear at exactly 35mph on partial throttle.
Engine spins up to approx 2Krpm then it drops into 4th with a lurch.
you guys feel the same?
I have 3.55 gears and the truck is still bone stock. 9Kmiles on her now. It's been like this since I got it new

1st-3rd feels like they're geared really low. I can sense the shift points are at 25, 35, and 45mph with medium throttle and no load on a flat road. I can't seem to feel the shift from 1->2 assuming it starts out in first.
Once it shifts into 4th, rpms drop and then the truck feels like it just woke up and starts accelerating with some real gusto. The shift between 1->2->3 and 4->5 are pretty smooth with the same amount of throttle. 3->4 is very different.
I don't think there's a mechanical problem.. Maybe just some fine tuning of the shift is needed in the PCM? dunno.
