No, think you have had it, I had the expedition rims on my scab, after 3 salty winters they are now throw away, spoke with the shot blast boys but it would take away aluminiumoff the rim which is now showing, the chrome that is good is never going to shift, best dump them and fit a new set.

A lot of the bigger platers in my neck of the woods that normally handle parts from a fab shop would actually cut you a deal to help "fill" thier plating tanks up. Doing a "measly" four 22" rims shouldn't be too much of a deal breaker...
I had three wrap around brush gaurds get blasted and chromed for $280. The shop I went to had a "automated" bead/sand blasting multi-step process, an operator just had to load and unload (and QC) the parts- then to the tanks.

You can certainly get your wheels re-chromed. Just do your homework and check out the quality level of the plating done by the shop you choose.
Talk with your local Harley dealer ask who they prefer for chrome plating. Harley owners tend to be rather picky when it comes to quality of chrome. I know I certainly am.
Last, make sure you understand the plating removal process and the prep work that will be done before re-plating your wheels. These processes may leave marks or other defects that will show thru with the new chrome.
Good luck
