I wouldnt say you notice ALOT more noise difference when i drove it there was a little difference but it isnt super loud by any means..at least for me.
When i did my 6637 a few weeks ago i really didnt notice any difference to the turbo sounds like i heard you would. Then after like a week i started to actually notice swooshing sounds and different pitches and a constant whistle at interstate speeds..pretty cool. Listen up for it.
What did you use to remove all the adhesive off of the tube, I am having a hard time getting this stuff loose. I will purchase some goof off or something similar and try again this weekend. Project looks great.
I used some gasket remover spray that I had laying around the garage. I have heard that a good paint thinner will work as well. The gasket remover spray worked very well. I have used goof off before but not on this. IMO, the gasket stuff worked better based on past experiences with goof of.
haha yeah that thing was dirty the PO was a firefighter so i think when he wasnt on a call he was washing the outside of the truck..not the engine though. I got in there with some simple green and a brush and washed it the other week and went over some of the parts with armor all so its shiner.
