Engine Codes P0299 & P0478
Hey All-my check engine light came on......pulled the following codes: P0299 Turbo Under Boost
P0478 Exhaust Pressure Control Valve High Input
I have 05 Excursion w/Edge-Juice programmer, AEM intake and Banks exhaust....other than that it's bone stock. Any insight & guidance would be appreciated!!!

First thing I would do is remove the Edge, check your CAC hoses for leaks, clear the codes and see if it comes back.

KRDiesel-not sure what CAC hoses are?? sorry newbie to diesel talk....

the silicon hose the connects the turbo to intercooler had a split, just ordered replacements for both ends (dielselsite)......i'll keep you posted, hope this clears up the issue...

That is a common place for them to split, It should clear up your issue.

the po478 can set the p0299. check ebp map and baro psi pids koeo value they should all be about 14.2-14.7 psi.

Side note; the Edge juice has not been noted for being very good for the Torque-shift tranny.

Make sure you clean everything with brake cleaner to get rid of any oil film. Then take some hair spray and spray a "light mist" on the tube and the hose before you put them back together. Should keep you from having the or a big bang under the hood as you step on it getting on the freeway or going up a hill.

You have the situation under control.

In my case, the issue was a badly plugged EGR.
