edelbrock tuning
i have a edelbrock 750 manual choke setup on my 400 and have 2 questions. whenever i have my foot in it pretty good and let off suddenly it dies. itll crank for a few seconds and then start right up but for instance whenever im at a mudbog and get to the end of the pit and let off to stop itll die. any suggestions?
also it runs just fine going up a steep incline but going down one itll die. float too hi or too low? im thinken too hi. not real good on carb work.

I know Ford used to put dashpots on carbs to keep them from dying. Maybe you need to open up the idle screw a bit? How is the idle mixture set?
Edelbrock sells a spring loaded needle and seat that helps on grades.
