I found a very nice set of 1991 F150 stock aluminum rims on Craigslist for just $80, and picked them up to put on my 66' F100 2WD. I have an appointment on Saturday to get my tires put on the new rims.
Here's what I'm wondering. I want to get a set of chrome lug nuts to go with the new wheels, rather than the rusty old ones I have now.
I know the wheels will fit, but are the lug nut thread sizes the same? If I were to go to the store and get lugnuts for a 1991, would they fit the 1966?
I don't have the option to check right now, as the truck is in N. Wisconsin at the cabin, and I won't get up there until late Friday night, and my appointment is on Saturday morning, so any quick help would be appreciated.
Yes 1/2 20 fine thread if they are stock. for 66 or 91. Make sure the lugs match the rims as to type. The installing shop will know what lugs are needed.
