While driveing to work one morning I shifted into 3rd gear let the clutch out gave it gas like normal when suddenly the engine cut out for a second the truck slowed down then kicked back on and took off, it drove normal for a while then it did it again. On the way home it happened again but didn't recover so I shifted out of 3rd and into 4th then it recovered drove fine the rest of the way home. I tried driveing it yesterday now I can't shift out of 1st before it just stalls out. if it helps any my truck is a 95 f150 5.0l with efi, 5 speed, 4x4. The transmission is a reman with maybe 300 miles on it so I know it's not a transmission issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
I see a few people have viewed this thread but no one has responded to it, if I can help you understand what my problem is let me know and I'll try to answer your question the best I can.
Fuel or spark come to mind. Pull a plug and check the spark. For that matter how old are the ignition pieces? Same for the fuel filter? What other work has been done to it recently? Any Check Engine Light? Check for codes. Many times there can be stored error codes without turning on the CEL.
+1 on the fuel filter. The fuel seems to flow okay at low RPMs but if a lot of gas is needed all at once, that flow gets clogged. Either the filter or you have a load of crap in the tank, clogging the "sock" under pressure.
I had a similar issue on my 91 F150. It turned out to be the TPS. Is it doing this all the time or just when it's hot? Mine only acted up after the engine was up to temp.

The fuel filter, starter, spark plugs, distributor cap, ide air control value, rotor button, new ram proformance clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, slave clyinder, battery, K&N air filter, locked rear dif, 31" tires are all new plus a remaned zf s542 transmission. the rest of the truck is original factory parts. The check engine light comes on every now and then. If it helps any I had the truck idleing in the drive way for 15 mins and it ran just fine until i tried to drive it.

I guess all the time seems to happen more when it's hot. Had to have the TPS replaced a month or so after I got the truck.
I have EFI. Are TFI and EFI the same thing or are they different systems?
You have both. Electronic Fuel injection (EFI) & a Thick Film Ignition (TFI) System. For a 95' it (the TFI Module) should be mounted on the driverside fenderwell & will be black. Here's a diagram on this link. Ford Fuel Injection Setting the timing

Thanks I'll look into replaceing the TFI module and check the fuel pressure.
As it could also be your PIP sensor (stator) Ford Fuel Injection Stator (RPM)
You can also take your TFI module in to have bench checked, & as Cski also mentioned, you need to rule out fuel by testing for too.
