so everything thing other than the metal shavings looks fine. lets say I "spin the axle by hand its very loose and make a growling sound but only a little bit, in the knuckle area" I would assume that is a bearing in there, in the seal of the knuckle. Perhaps I have some of my names confused of the nomenclature of this area wrong.
In the second picture is the race bearing and or knuckle seal. This is what I need to replace - That area in the second picture...
Also I ordered the bolts 8 of them...
So I think I need 2 Race bearings/knuckle seals and a seal driver (home made)
WOW what a good how to! I just looked at the one you linked and MAN that is a good one! so I did everything correct. I have yet to put my new Hubs on so no worries, now its about getting that outer axle out and that seal out and new ones in... anyone have part numbers for all that off hand?
