Wont start Please Help

My newly rebuilt 302 wont start. Turns over good and but wont fire. Seems like it isnt getting fuel but i even squirted some fuel in the carburator and it wouldn't fire. When I push the gas pedal to the floor and hold it you would swear it was ready to start but it wont. Timing has been checked numerous times as well as wiring. Please give some help or advice.

Try to make as many diagnostic checks as you can with the engine off and not cranking. It's very important these days for the engine to immediately fire and run at high idle (2000-2500RPM) for 20 minutes to break in the cam.

FMC400 has a link for you, however please answer what you are running for ignition:

Original Points?
Duraspark?
Aftermarket like MSD, Accel or Mallory?

The truck has original points ignition. coil is working, power to the points and power to the spark plugs. Timing is very close to where it should be.
