My thoughts too. Looks like crap. I would like to see a 5th wheel test with the vented tailgate. I know with the tailgate up and a 5th wheel that the suction is tremendous. I had a rubber mat under a large fully loaded ice chest at the rear tailgate and was towing and the vacuum sucked the darn mat out from under it.
I agree the vacuum is tremenduos. I have had it suck large pieces of firewood out of the bed and under the trailer. I had a large cooler with remnants and leftovers in it from the weekend in the bed. I thought there is no way for that thing to physically come out of there so away I went. I'll have you know that cooler stayed in the bed and didn't drop any of it's contents but the entire way it never touched the truck (for the most part). It stayed lifted up and pressed up against the bottom of the 5th wheel the entire way. Never did it fall even once. That made me realize where all my fire wood went when traveling. I thought people were taking it at rest stops. LOL.
