does anybody know the maxium size tires will fit on a 96 bronco without a lift. also my bronco came with steal rims which i think look like crap. is their any place where i can get factory chromed or alluminum rims for a bronco.
I have 32x11.5 x15 goodyear at/s on my bronco and they fill the wheel well pretty well..I have them on 15x10 rims....you can see what they look like by looking in my gallery. Look at the pics in the dirt--they're the most recent, the pics on the grass were taken shortly after I bought it in '99...
If you want factory rims look on ebay. However, you can buy aftermarket rims cheaper than factory Ford rims. If you like the look of the factory bullet hole rims, check out American Racing's outlaw II's (a.k.a. AR-62) They're inexpensive but they still look great!
I have a set of four 15x7.5 stock aluminum rims from my 92 that still have a set of 31x10.5 BFG A/T's on them. Would be willing to part with them fairly cheap...let me know. They are the ten hole aluminums but they still have the rivet head look to them. I think somewhere shortly after 92, maybe even 93, the phony rivet heads were dropped in favor of the smooth wheel and a larger circle for the holes.
Thanks! It's made by Genuine Steel, I bought it from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers about 3 years ago...it's fairly simple to install--you remove the front bumper, install a bracket in the holes where the bumper was, then bolt both the bumper and the guard to that bracket (or something close to that..it's been a while) just try not to set off the air bag when you're removing the bumper
I like it because it has rubber strips on it so that it won't mark-up other bumpers when you try to push them...not like road rage stuff, but for example say my f150 won't start (not an uncommon example) I can use this to either push it around the yard, or to push it down the road while someone pops the clutch...
greystreak92. How much were you thinking to sell your rims for? I found a site in minnesota which is where i live selling used stock aluminum rims for a 92-96 bronco at 220$ for a set of four. if you are willing to part with your rims for close to the same price (including shipping) I would be willing to take your off your hands.
let me know what you think.
I have a 95 now but on a 92 fullsize I had I ran 33x12.50's on 10" rims with no problems. BUT! I never took that bronco off road so I don't know about rubbing. I have heard of alot of people running the same setup with no problems....

I am in MN, can you give me the name of the place please.
I run 33x12.5-15 BFG's All-Terrain KO on the stock rim and they only touch the brake lines lock to lock...but a couple of tie wraps have taken care of that problem
